Our Plainfield nursery has everything to complete your outdoor living space. Our landscape design center is located in town at 1701 Quincy Av Suite 25, Naperville, and our Plainfield nursery location is now our tree, shrub and plant headquarters! The 40 acre nursery is just a short distance from Naperville and is a beautiful example of the rich, rural farm fields of our area. A huge selection of trees, shrubs to fit every setting, evergreens of all sizes, and some perennial flowers to fill in your landscape are all thriving here and ready to add beauty to your home.

TREES LARGE AND SMALL
We have mature trees, some over 20 feet tall when planted, to provide instant character to your home. Some of our customers prefer these to replace a tree or to give them a head start on providing shade and protection to their home. Other customers tell us they want to plant a small tree and watch it grow. Planting a small tree is a wonderful way to celebrate a new baby to the household or to mark the year you purchased your new home. We recently planted 600 new trees of many varieties, and will help you select the best one for your home.
EVERGREEN and DECIDUOUS SHRUBS
Who says evergreen shrubs don’t provide color? You can achieve a wide color palette by mixing evergreen shrubs. Yews can provide the deep greens we love all year round, and boxwoods and arborvitae varieties add shades of light green or yellow. The new variety of boxwood, “Gem”, is much hardier to our Midwestern climate than some previous varieties. Resistant to boxwood blight, their softer leaves and shape is very attractive and adds interest to the landscape.
Flowering deciduous shrubs add color year after year. Fragrant and beautiful Viburnums and Lilacs welcome spring and early summer. The “Scents and Sensibility” lilac shrub is one of our favorites. We have a wide choice of varieties and sizes of these shrubs. Choose the Ninebark summer wine variety for dark red color interest, and the Weigala “Mr. Tuxedo” variety is colorful and hardy. We have many varieties and sizes of magnolias and hydrangeas, including tree hydrangeas. With some planning, you can have flowering shrubs from early spring well into the summer. For fall color, one of our favorites this year is the Diervilla. It’s a shade tolerant shrub that grows to 4-6 feet, and has no serious insect or disease problems. The Kodiak red, orange or black varieties provide wonderful fall color.
We also have a supply of perennial flowers to complete your landscape design. We can suggest ways to plant that will complement or enhance your pathways, patios or other hardscape designs.
Many of our customers love to visit us to walk and view our wide selection. Others want to consult us on the phone to get help with their selection. Either way, we can finalize your selection, deliver and install.
